Julie relaxing with a podcast and plenty of Michigan Mom hydration during a recent infusion chair session (pembrolizumab + infliximab). Note the presence of the Optune TTF system as a key part of Julie’s customized, combination treatment regimen. To learn more about the design, implementation and clinical course of Julie’s treatment regimen as well as the members of Team Julie who made it all possible, we invite you to visit “An Open Letter to Team Julie”.

Tumor Treating Fields (TTF) are a novel approach to treating various forms of cancer. Approved for GBM therapy, the full spectrum of biomolecular mechanisms underlying the disruptive action of TTF on cancer cells is being actively investigated and elucidated via multiple research programs worldwide.

Novocure is the sponsor of the Optune(R) system used by numerous GBM patients, including Julie. We urge you to “Watch this Space” as Novocure and its collaborators prepare to read out the results of several important clinical and non-clinical studies over the coming months.
